REVIEW - Ready To Love Again By Keren Hughes - REVIEWED BY KAREN

I won this book on a social media so I really had no idea what to expect, wow what a beautiful story, young love, soul mate, best friend all what you would love it to be. Then the cruel life hits and rocks your world:-

For Alyssa Young, life has never been easy. But the hardest thing of all was two years ago when her husband Ethan committed suicide…

Moving town was her only option, she had to get out of the town where she grew up and all the buildings and people reminded her of what she had lost.

She found a new job at Emerging Butterfly Publishing House and that was where she met editor, Chase Williams.

Although she has no romantic interest in him, he pursues her…

Of course he's good looking. He's also smart, funny, and she loves spending time with him. But Alyssa can't put the past to rest.

He wants Alyssa to open up to him and fall in love with him the way he fell for her the moment he met her.

Can Chase convince Alyssa that the time is right and she’s ready to love again?

This story takes you right in amongst them and boy do you need tissues.  It shows the emotions so thoroughly what the characters go through and the ripple effects and heart ache and how they over come it.

This author has truly amazed me and I will definitely be looking for more from her, you will not be disappointed in this book.

REVIEW - Conviction By Lesley Jones - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

Having read the carnage series I decided to buy this on it's release date knowing I would not be disappointed.

It's taken me a while to read but that was because of personal life getting in the way.

I fell in love with the characters, from sweet adorable "meebs" to feisty Sophie, to nasty Newman and to the one and only "Connor f*****g Reed".

The sex scenes made me feel like I was there in the moment with them, or wishing I was!

If you loved carnage, then you will love this as it is a kind of similar storyline but only kind of similar.

Lesley is a legend and I need to hunt out more of her books now because I "fu****g love them". Lol.

Top book. Not a 5* read but a 50000000* read!!

REVIEW - S.I.R. (Love is for liars) Book 1 By Samantha Knight - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

I was sent an arc of this in return of an honest review.

This is the first of Samantha Knight's books I have read.
It more than likely will not be the last.
Silas is a male erotic writer that goes by the name S.I.R.  He doesn't believe in marriage, or relationships or happy endings, he just believes in sex and that it makes good research.
Starr is a blogger that is obsessed with reading everything S.I.R, writes.

I loved the storyline.  The idea of having one a erotic writer and one a blogger is pure genius.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was very short.  I do hope book two is longer because I need it to be!

REVIEW - When Fates Align By Isabelle Richards - REVIEW BY LOUISE

I recieved an arc from the author in return for an honest review.

Well when we finished off in book 2 I was ploughing through a pile of tissues and messaging Isabelle the author telling her off!! How dare she end book 2 like that!!!
I got told to go and immediately delve into book 3 so I did.

When Fates Align starts off in a very sombre mood, precisely where When Fate Isn't Enough ends off.
Gavin is reeling from the events from book 2. He has lost the love of his life, his heart is broken and he has nothing but revenge to live for. Revenge which is best served hard and cold.......

I won't post much more about the book, I don't want to give any spoilers. But this was a suspensful rivoting read from start to finish. Isabelle did a fantastic job and I told her so too. I loved this series and even though I have read it now I'm sure I will read it again some point.

If you have read the first two then you have to read this and if you haven't read any of them I totally recommend it.

Isabelle, fantastic job Luv.

When Fates Align Launch - Isabelle Richards Blog Tour

We are very happy to be part of this blog tour.  It is the first one we have ever done.
When Fates Align Synopsis:-

Why would fate bring them together only to tear them apart?
Lily and Gavin were brought together in a clash of tragedy and chaos. Amid the ashes of lives gone wrong, they thought they found a second chance at love. With trouble from their previous lives lurking around every corner, they quickly learned that love from a star-crossed romance isn’t enough to survive.
Lily has slipped through Gavin’s fingers, and he feels as though he’s been sentenced to an eternity in hell. But if he’s going to perish in the ninth circle, everyone responsible for coming between him and Lily will go down with him.

Perhaps their love was never meant to be. But, if he’s learned anything from his time with Lily, it’s that sometimes everything has to crash and burn before life can begin again.
In line with this release we have an exclusive excerpt from the book for you:-
There’s a romantic notion that if the person you love dies, you’ll somehow feel it. You’ll feel the connection sever as the other half of your soul is ripped from you. But I didn’t feel anything when Lily died. Nothing. I should have felt something, shouldn’t I? Like the tether she holds around my heart snapping or a surge of electrical current when the connection between us was lost? Something. But there was no warning. As I drove to my flat, there was no sign of the devastation waiting for me. Nothing to prepare me for the reality that my heart was about to be irrevocably shattered. Even if I had felt something, it couldn’t have prepared me for this.
It all seems unreal. Lily can’t be dead. Despite the numerous times I lectured her about the danger she was in, I never truly believed I’d lose her. I thought as long as she was with me, she’d be safe. What a fool I was.
Time’s come to a standstill. I’m frozen whilst people move all around me. A constant squawk of radios echoes in the hall. Police officers and firemen hustle in and out of my flat, moving with such purpose. Tasks to complete. Because this is just a job to them. Just another murder scene. One of many. They take notes, collect samples, snap pictures. When it’s over, they’ll go home, or to the pub, and the horrors they saw here will eventually fade away.

Not for me. My anguish from this day will never fade. It will fester inside me, trapping me in eternal misery. Since I’m perishing in hell, I’m going to make sure the bastards who did this to her perish right along with me. I’m certain vengeance crosses the minds of most people who have lost someone to such senseless acts of violence, but I know this isn’t just a passing stage of grief that will wane with time. Cartels like Morelia survive because they know how to work the system. Blackmail, extortion, and bribery make them untouchable by authorities. The only way I’ll get justice for Lily is if I annihilate them myself, and unlike most people, I have the resources and connections to make it happen.

When Fates Align is the final book in the Trilogy but if you haven't got any of them now is the time to purchase them while they are all on sale for a limited time only!

REVIEW - When fate isn't enough by Isabelle Richards - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

I started this immediately after finishing book 1.
I absolutely love series books, I can fall in love with the characters and really enjoy them.
This book carries on from where book 1 leaves us. With Lily travelling to London to spend some time with Gavin and wondering if she has made the right decision.
She falls into London life assuming she is now safe from her late husbands demons.
She was wrong.........................................
This book was full of twists and turns and suspense in bucket loads. It had me on the edge of my seat sometimes.
The ending OMG the ending, it ends in a spectacular cliffhanger which if like me you know the author will have you telling her you hate her!!
Once you have read this one pick up book 3 straight away. Well when its released lol.

REVIEW - When Fates Collide By Isabelle Richards - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

I wasn't sure what to expect when I read this book. I had read the blurb and at first glimpse it seemed like woman meets man of dreams - lives happily ever after....
This is NOT the case at all.
Lily is an optimistic person, one who sees the glass half empty rather than half full. I am very much like her actually!!
Lily's life gets turned upside down thanks to her husband. Her life is at risk and everyone she knows too.
Then she bumps (literally) into Gavin, who too is having a particularly bad day.
The book is full of suspense and surprises and twists and turns. Having said that I did manage to guess one of the big "omg" moments well before that happened!
I found myself literally yelling at Lily sometimes "come on girl here's a hot guy practically throwing himself at you WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???"
I thoroughly enjoy series books, it allows me to get into the characters. To work out in my head what they look like and visualise them actually doing what I am reading.
I have delved straight into book 2 so I am ready and waiting for book 3 to come out!
Lovely book, well written and the plot is well thought out.
