REVIEW - Hold On To Me By Lucia Franco - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

I was sent an arc of this to read and review.

Alyssa Winters has been forced to up sticks and move again thanks to her unsettled mother.  She is so used to it she doesn't even bother trying to make friends anymore.  Why bother?  She will just be moving again and again and again....
That is until she sets eyes on John, a sweet talking dirty Georgia boy who likes nothing more than drinking and "mudding".

They quickly become friends, but John wants more, Needs more.  Alyssa runs at every turn, pushing him away constantly.

Until a fateful night that changes everything..............

John seems like such a sweet loving guy, the sort of guy you would be lucky to have fall in love with you.  Although he goes off the rails a bit after the tragedy, he still becomes a stable strong rock that any woman would be proud to have.  I fell head over heels for him, time and time again....

Alyssa, I wanted to slap her sometimes.  I wanted to pull her out of the book and slap her and tell her to stop being stupid.  That this was a man that loved her very much and she should stop shoving him away before she lost him.

Lovely story, a little repetitive at times with Alyssa shoving John away which did irritate me at times.  I understand she had issues but I wonder if it was real life and not a book how much the guy would have taken before he ran off.

That said, I enjoyed the book and will be looking for more of Lucia's books to read.

REVIEW - Bad Company By Lissa Jay - REVIEWED BY KAREN

This is an MC book with a difference, Dr Kelly Darrow loves her career as a psychologist in Scotland and won't commit to any relationship as she has strong issues of trust. She is brought in on a case which is very strange, a man is found unconscious near the bottom of Ben Nevis with a suicide note near by, she finds herself so drawn to him even to the point of fantasising about how they would be together.

The man is called Cameron or so the note says, when he wakes he has amnesia it's Kelly's job to help him remember, this is where things really step up as he starts to have flash backs which tell them he is American and has done some dark things.  Their emotions and feelings start to heat up, their relationship takes you on a roller coaster ride and it is a forbidden romance with very hot steamy scenes.

A lovely personal story that will take you where you least expect it.

REVIEW - Run From You By Kandice Michelle Young - REVIEWED BY KAREN

I was given this free for my honest review.

WOW I thought the first one was brilliant but this keeps getting better, it picks up right where we were left at the end of Run to You. You are hooked straight into the story and you get to know more about the history of the characters i.e. how they met, what happened when they were younger also new characters which is great reading.

There is still turmoil but when you have to chose between the only two men that have meant anything in your life you know there is going to be heart break but who's.... Kyle you will love, he is from Dani's past and is still in love with her but his is the sweet love the one who has always been there for her and in a way saved her, then there is Sebastian who loves her but cannot give 100%, then you have the other obstacles to overcome.

You will not believe who else comes into the plot and it will have you on the edge of your seat and screaming at the pages your help for them all. This is truly one of those stories you will not want to put down but also you won't want it to end which all comes down to the brilliant way it is written by Kandice Young, a MUST read that you will not want to miss out on.

REVIEW - Stepbrother Charming By Nicole Snow - REVIEWED BY KAREN

I received this free for my honest review.

WOW this is the first book I have read by this author and not going to be the last at all.

This story is full, jam packed of everything you can imagine, the characters are strong in different ways, it's intense rawness keeps you gripped and you will not want to stop reading.

Ty is amazingly the worst bad boy billionaire I have met yet and you soon start mellowing to him, Claire is your true virgin waiting for Mr Right and boy did she try not to pick him especially when she realises her mum has gone and married his dad and didn't even know they were dating. They start by clashing at every moment their eyes meet to spending the summer together where their love escalates, there is so much hot steamy sexy scenes as well as the adventure you really get sucked into it all and all will be revealed.

A definite read worth having.

REVIEW - Masking: Jason's Story (Masquerade Book 2) By S.N.Williams - REVIEWED BY KAREN

I was given this for my honest review.

I can truly say what a beautiful love story this is from Jason's point. He tells from such a down to earth side you just want to give him a hug

Jason had a horrible childhood, with a domineering father who tried to control him at every step.

This story fills in so many gaps you feel like you are combining both books at once because it is brilliantly written to help you remember and gives you so many answers.

This series is getting better with each one and I can't wait for the next one to find out how things progress, this is a true love story and you have to read the first book to get a true hit on how great they are written.

REVIEW - Run To You By Kandice Michelle Young - REVIEWED BY KAREN

I received this free for my honest review.

This is a very intense book, the two main characters have had trauma in their past and are still living with it in their personal lives.
Dani has done well and gets an internship in a very successful events organiser and has a gay best friend who is a fashion photographer and model and knows everything of her past so they both support each other.

Dani is thrown into a meeting and is drawn to Sebastian Black and this is where it all gets exciting, the chemistry is so strong and neither really wants to get in too a relationship but it quickly escalates.

Can they get past their demons?

This story with its twists and turns and all the raw energy you feel grips you, as you fall in love with them and want to scream at them to go a different path you are so drawn into the pages you really don't realise it until you get to the end that it is a cliff hanger and OMG you will so need the next one like I did.

REVIEW - Saving Dancer By Jordan Marie - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

Saving Dancer is Book #2 in the Savage Brothers MC series.  I dived straight into this after finishing Book #1.

These books are a little unusual for a series in that they focus on different people and their stories rather than just focusing on the one set of characters throughout the whole series.

Carrie has been in love with Dancer aka Jacob ever since she was 5 years old.
One night something happened, something that would change Carrie and Jacobs life forever............................

Jacob Blake aka Dancer has just been released from prison.  He killed a man, protecting his little sister's friend Carrie.  Can he overcome his demons and nightmares of things that he experienced in prison?
Maybe with Carrie's help he can but first he must realise that what happened was not her fault and to blame her is wrong...........

This book tore me up inside literally.  I found myself crying a lot reading it.  Its a really difficult intense book to digest but worth it in the end.  Sometimes I wanted to slap Dancer and other times I wanted to wrap him up in a massive hug!

Considering this is Jordan Marie's 2nd book it is a very well written intense read.  I look forward to reading others in the Savage Brothers MC Series.

Jordan Marie has fast become one of my "one click" authors!!

REVIEW - Breaking Dragon by Jordan Marie - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

Breaking Dragon was only my second ever MC novel.  Being from the UK the world of MC novels and the reality too is nothing like what I would ever experience.  Breaking Dragon is book #1 in the Savage Brothers MC series.  I do love series books, they enable me to get more into the characters and immerse myself into the worlds.

Nicole is a feisty independent girl who has everything she could want.  She makes a massive move with her best friend and what happens that day changes her life forever.  Nicole is the perfect character, she's not a skinny size 6 model and she's not someone to be messed with or walked all over either!

Dragon is the leader of the Savage Brothers MC and to him women are good for only one thing and relationships don't come into it.  That is untill Nicole comes crashing into his world........
This feisty, sexy sassy woman is the total opposite of Dragon and from a totally different world.  Two worlds crashing together in a spectacular way.

The combination of the sweet rich girl and the dangerous bad boy is addictive and exciting.  The danger, the drama, the sex, the excitement all comes together in one package.  This book!!!!

I absolutely loved every second of this book, I was only about 10 minutes in when I was rolling around laughing at one part of it!!!

And yet another part of the book had me in tears!

A cracking debut from a fantastic Author and a brilliant person.  One I am very proud to now call my friend!!

REVIEW - Russian Oligarch's Tenacious Lover By Nic Saint - REVIEWED BY KAREN

I received this free for my honest review.

This is another fantastic read by Nic Saint with plenty of twists.

Glynis Fox is a scotland yard officer who abducts the notorious jewel thief The Shadow aka Thomas Spencer.  He stole her mothers pearls and she risks her life and career to hold him at gunpoint in her family's home to get them back.

You find yourself amongst a triangle and as the story unfolds you are hooked, it's not the usual but still a really great story. You end up with a romance with special characters that you want to know more about them.

REVIEW - Ready To Love Again By Keren Hughes - REVIEWED BY KAREN

I won this book on a social media so I really had no idea what to expect, wow what a beautiful story, young love, soul mate, best friend all what you would love it to be. Then the cruel life hits and rocks your world:-

For Alyssa Young, life has never been easy. But the hardest thing of all was two years ago when her husband Ethan committed suicide…

Moving town was her only option, she had to get out of the town where she grew up and all the buildings and people reminded her of what she had lost.

She found a new job at Emerging Butterfly Publishing House and that was where she met editor, Chase Williams.

Although she has no romantic interest in him, he pursues her…

Of course he's good looking. He's also smart, funny, and she loves spending time with him. But Alyssa can't put the past to rest.

He wants Alyssa to open up to him and fall in love with him the way he fell for her the moment he met her.

Can Chase convince Alyssa that the time is right and she’s ready to love again?

This story takes you right in amongst them and boy do you need tissues.  It shows the emotions so thoroughly what the characters go through and the ripple effects and heart ache and how they over come it.

This author has truly amazed me and I will definitely be looking for more from her, you will not be disappointed in this book.

REVIEW - Conviction By Lesley Jones - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

Having read the carnage series I decided to buy this on it's release date knowing I would not be disappointed.

It's taken me a while to read but that was because of personal life getting in the way.

I fell in love with the characters, from sweet adorable "meebs" to feisty Sophie, to nasty Newman and to the one and only "Connor f*****g Reed".

The sex scenes made me feel like I was there in the moment with them, or wishing I was!

If you loved carnage, then you will love this as it is a kind of similar storyline but only kind of similar.

Lesley is a legend and I need to hunt out more of her books now because I "fu****g love them". Lol.

Top book. Not a 5* read but a 50000000* read!!

REVIEW - S.I.R. (Love is for liars) Book 1 By Samantha Knight - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

I was sent an arc of this in return of an honest review.

This is the first of Samantha Knight's books I have read.
It more than likely will not be the last.
Silas is a male erotic writer that goes by the name S.I.R.  He doesn't believe in marriage, or relationships or happy endings, he just believes in sex and that it makes good research.
Starr is a blogger that is obsessed with reading everything S.I.R, writes.

I loved the storyline.  The idea of having one a erotic writer and one a blogger is pure genius.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was very short.  I do hope book two is longer because I need it to be!

REVIEW - When Fates Align By Isabelle Richards - REVIEW BY LOUISE

I recieved an arc from the author in return for an honest review.

Well when we finished off in book 2 I was ploughing through a pile of tissues and messaging Isabelle the author telling her off!! How dare she end book 2 like that!!!
I got told to go and immediately delve into book 3 so I did.

When Fates Align starts off in a very sombre mood, precisely where When Fate Isn't Enough ends off.
Gavin is reeling from the events from book 2. He has lost the love of his life, his heart is broken and he has nothing but revenge to live for. Revenge which is best served hard and cold.......

I won't post much more about the book, I don't want to give any spoilers. But this was a suspensful rivoting read from start to finish. Isabelle did a fantastic job and I told her so too. I loved this series and even though I have read it now I'm sure I will read it again some point.

If you have read the first two then you have to read this and if you haven't read any of them I totally recommend it.

Isabelle, fantastic job Luv.

When Fates Align Launch - Isabelle Richards Blog Tour

We are very happy to be part of this blog tour.  It is the first one we have ever done.
When Fates Align Synopsis:-

Why would fate bring them together only to tear them apart?
Lily and Gavin were brought together in a clash of tragedy and chaos. Amid the ashes of lives gone wrong, they thought they found a second chance at love. With trouble from their previous lives lurking around every corner, they quickly learned that love from a star-crossed romance isn’t enough to survive.
Lily has slipped through Gavin’s fingers, and he feels as though he’s been sentenced to an eternity in hell. But if he’s going to perish in the ninth circle, everyone responsible for coming between him and Lily will go down with him.

Perhaps their love was never meant to be. But, if he’s learned anything from his time with Lily, it’s that sometimes everything has to crash and burn before life can begin again.
In line with this release we have an exclusive excerpt from the book for you:-
There’s a romantic notion that if the person you love dies, you’ll somehow feel it. You’ll feel the connection sever as the other half of your soul is ripped from you. But I didn’t feel anything when Lily died. Nothing. I should have felt something, shouldn’t I? Like the tether she holds around my heart snapping or a surge of electrical current when the connection between us was lost? Something. But there was no warning. As I drove to my flat, there was no sign of the devastation waiting for me. Nothing to prepare me for the reality that my heart was about to be irrevocably shattered. Even if I had felt something, it couldn’t have prepared me for this.
It all seems unreal. Lily can’t be dead. Despite the numerous times I lectured her about the danger she was in, I never truly believed I’d lose her. I thought as long as she was with me, she’d be safe. What a fool I was.
Time’s come to a standstill. I’m frozen whilst people move all around me. A constant squawk of radios echoes in the hall. Police officers and firemen hustle in and out of my flat, moving with such purpose. Tasks to complete. Because this is just a job to them. Just another murder scene. One of many. They take notes, collect samples, snap pictures. When it’s over, they’ll go home, or to the pub, and the horrors they saw here will eventually fade away.

Not for me. My anguish from this day will never fade. It will fester inside me, trapping me in eternal misery. Since I’m perishing in hell, I’m going to make sure the bastards who did this to her perish right along with me. I’m certain vengeance crosses the minds of most people who have lost someone to such senseless acts of violence, but I know this isn’t just a passing stage of grief that will wane with time. Cartels like Morelia survive because they know how to work the system. Blackmail, extortion, and bribery make them untouchable by authorities. The only way I’ll get justice for Lily is if I annihilate them myself, and unlike most people, I have the resources and connections to make it happen.

When Fates Align is the final book in the Trilogy but if you haven't got any of them now is the time to purchase them while they are all on sale for a limited time only!

REVIEW - When fate isn't enough by Isabelle Richards - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

I started this immediately after finishing book 1.
I absolutely love series books, I can fall in love with the characters and really enjoy them.
This book carries on from where book 1 leaves us. With Lily travelling to London to spend some time with Gavin and wondering if she has made the right decision.
She falls into London life assuming she is now safe from her late husbands demons.
She was wrong.........................................
This book was full of twists and turns and suspense in bucket loads. It had me on the edge of my seat sometimes.
The ending OMG the ending, it ends in a spectacular cliffhanger which if like me you know the author will have you telling her you hate her!!
Once you have read this one pick up book 3 straight away. Well when its released lol.

REVIEW - When Fates Collide By Isabelle Richards - REVIEWED BY LOUISE

I wasn't sure what to expect when I read this book. I had read the blurb and at first glimpse it seemed like woman meets man of dreams - lives happily ever after....
This is NOT the case at all.
Lily is an optimistic person, one who sees the glass half empty rather than half full. I am very much like her actually!!
Lily's life gets turned upside down thanks to her husband. Her life is at risk and everyone she knows too.
Then she bumps (literally) into Gavin, who too is having a particularly bad day.
The book is full of suspense and surprises and twists and turns. Having said that I did manage to guess one of the big "omg" moments well before that happened!
I found myself literally yelling at Lily sometimes "come on girl here's a hot guy practically throwing himself at you WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???"
I thoroughly enjoy series books, it allows me to get into the characters. To work out in my head what they look like and visualise them actually doing what I am reading.
I have delved straight into book 2 so I am ready and waiting for book 3 to come out!
Lovely book, well written and the plot is well thought out.
